About Stillman Valley, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Stillman Valley is a community in, Ogle County, Illinois and lies east of Byron and south of Rockford. The population is about 1,000 and the town was founded by European settlers in Illinois in 1876. Due to the existence of two major railroad lines intersecting alongside the town, Stillman Valley has prospered all through its history. Illinois has freezing winters with impressive snows and sometimes glacial temperatures but they also enjoy temperate springs and hot summers. This cyclic weather is highly attractive for raising kids. You’ll see kids riding bikes in the summer, and dragging sleds in the winter all along the tree lined and safe streets.

If you are interested in local arts and culture, there are many great places to check out within a quick drive from town. Belvider is well-known in the area as the "City of Murals” because of its various murals which have been maintained by the town’s historical commission for well over a decade. They give accounts of the town’s life and commerce in the past. Some spotlight the goals of the town and depict the community’s hopes and values. Others commemorate the area’s culture. 350 artists have contributed their own individual feel to this town’s regularly evolving civic art mission. In Rockford, the Coronado Theatre was named one of 150 Great Places in Illinois and has hosted various celebrated and admired performers such as Sinatra and Bob Dylan.

When the weather is nice, the area’s parks are busy. Rockford Park District, for example, operates Aldeen Golf Course which has been recognized by both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine. It is generally regarded as a top rate, sensibly priced golf destination. Anderson Japanese Gardens, Klehm Arboretum are also in Rockford and are just a quick drive away. Rock Cut State Park is used by families and locals as well as tourists and adventurers for camping, recreation, water sports, sports instruction, rock climbing, fishing, and hunting.
